About this product

Made with antibiotic-free and hormone-free turkey, our Turkey Necks are available as whole necks with edible bone, as well as turkey neck ends with no bone. With or without bone, turkey necks are a rich, natural source of protein while edible bone and cartilage are rich in calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, chondroitin, and glucosamine which supports joint health and improved mobility. On average, turkey necks are comprised of 45% edible bone and 55% meat and include approximately 1.84 grams of calcium per 100 grams of neck. Should be fed as the meaty bone component of a DIY diet, and not meant to be served as a full meal. Recommended for dogs only. Available in 2 pound pack. Use caution when feeding neck bones, as an excessive amount of necks, trachea, or gullet can potentially cause dietary hyperthyroidism due to active thyroid tissue/enzymes that may be present in these items. Necks are perfectly safe to feed in moderation. At minimum it is generally recommended to rotate neck bones with other meaty bones every other day in a raw diet. This is a great meaty bone to feed my 40 lb, 5 month old German Shepherd puppy. I give him one every couple days and he really enjoys holding it it his paws and working his way through it, especially when its a hot day and the neck is still partially frozen.

I have three toy dogs that are brachycephalic (short muzzle). These 4” turkey neck meaty bones are perfect for my little dogs
mouths. They are an awesome natural way to get a real food joint supplement into your dog. The best part is that enjoy eating them. I recommend them highly.

These are a favorite of my 17lb poodle mix. No skin and not much fat on them. They are the perfect size for him, both length and weight-wise. They are usually somewhere around 3 ounces a piece, which is almost exactly what he eats for dinner. And as stated they are cut about 4 inches long. Fed frozen they take him about 20 minutes to eat, thawed out maybe 3 minutes. Love them!

  2. sangyehatchion (verified owner) –

These are perfect for my 19 lb toy fox terrier/chihuahua/something else mix. One piece is a meal for him. I usually give him 1/4 lb of a HVM roll twice a day, so the size is perfect. I give him a couple necks per week. It takes him about 10 minutes to eat, and I don’t have to worry about him breaking his teeth, like with harder bones.

My dogs love these!! Perfect size.
