Founded in 2018 by Kimberly Gauthier of Keep the Tail Wagging, Raw Feeding Week falls on the first week of April every year and is a week dedicated to celebrating the myriad benefits that come as a result of feeding our dogs a raw diet.

Why a raw diet is the best diet for carnivores.

Commercial, over-processed kibble has been thrust upon dog owners as the best and healthiest option for feeding their pets for decades. But there’s a reason why most pet food brands don’t disclose the full and accurate list of ingredients in their kibble, let alone where those ingredients came from or how they were processed. Not only are many of them not healthy for our pets, they’re actually harmful. With countless misinformation and marketing gimmicks swirling around the pet food industry, we’ve gotten away from what’s best for our pets: real, raw food. But at Carnos, we’re breaking that mold.

Smaller and firmer poops, less frequently.

The difference in your dog’s poop is the change that you will notice the fastest after you switch them to a raw diet. This is because they are processing and absorbing more nutrition and producing less waste on a fresh, natural diet. With a raw diet, potty time will become much more natural.
